Our Next Challenge -  Waterfalls

Join us on Tuesday, May 18th (weather permitting).

We will leave the North Gate (Wildcat) pool parking lot at 7:00 AM. 

Plan on at least 6 hours.

We will have a zoom meeting (schedule TBD) to view these images and one image will be chosen to become our new FB cover page photo.

Our Next Challenge - Shirley Miller Wildflower Trail, aka “The Pocket”

Join us on Wednesday, March 22nd (weather permitting).

We will leave the North Gate pool parking lot at 7:30 AM – It's a 2 hour drive.

You will need a Georgia hunting or fishing license. It's  only $4 if you are over 65.

Stay as long as want and leave at your leisure. 

We might do a Side Trip if everyone is willing. Cloudland Canyon is fairly close to the pocket.

We will have a zoom meeting (schedule TBD) to view these images and one image will be chosen to become our new FB cover page photo.

Until we are past the cold weather and a little further into Covid safety, we will have a similar function every few weeks to keep the club active and our cameras clicking.

Our Past Challenge - Shooting Smoke

Check out the gallery of smoke images! If you haven't had a chance to try this, just follow the instructions below.

Here's a short YouTube video to get you started. We recommend using incense to produce the smoke and definitely setting up outside, unless you like the smell of incense.

Our Past Challenge - Shoot Big Canoe

It was our first fun event of the year. Many thanks to everyone who participated. 

On Monday, February 8, 2021, members of the Big Canoe Photography Club dusted off their cameras to take photos inside, outside, portraits, landscapes, etc. The gallery below is the result of the event.

A zoom call was held on February 12 to ooh and ahh over those images and one was chosen for the cover of the club's Facebook page.
