Bert Loftman was a longtime member of the Big Canoe Photography Club and enjoyed the challenge of wildlife photography. "It is similar to hunting, using the techniques of stalking and ambush" said Bert. Bird photography was his a speciality. Bert lived in Big Canoe for over 1 5 years with his wife and bird spotter, Mara (Bunny). He passed away in March 2019. He is missed.
